The Believer’s Unfair Advantage In This Generation

If you have ever felt like or heard people say “it is not easy to be a Christian in this generation” this is for you.

Oftentimes, when people make those statements, they allude to the fact that serving Go isn’t exactly a walk in the park. And with the current trend in the society, it can be really intimidating to stand out amongst several others.

You know what? That’s because they try to do serve God by their own strength. Listen, dear friend, one thing I learnt from Jesus is that the only way to serve God effective is through His Spirit!

That is why I insist that the first things a new convert should do is to get acquainted with this awesome personality called the Holy Spirit. After all, He was called to walk alongside us in this world.

And when Jesus was leaving the disciples, He charged them to stay indoors and wait until that precious Spirit from above came. Thankfully, He is here now so stop struggling to do the things of God.

Stop “trying” to do right and let the Holy Spirit just help you.

“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” Ezek 36:27

Notice that the word didn’t say “… I will put my Spirit within you and you shall try to walk in my statues” When the Spirit is involved and given full control, He can dominate even your actions and lead you where you may not ordinarily go.

That means the pressure from outside that draws many and makes it almost impossible for them to walk in God’s statues will no longer be your challenge. This is what I call the believer’s unfair advantage.

And just so you know, the Holy Spirit doesn’t just cause you to walk in God’s statues, He also causes you to walk in health and prosperity as well!

PRAYER: Father I thank you for the person of the Holy Spirit who has been sent to me to help me walk through life victoriously and successfully. I recognize, acknowledge and take advantage of His ministry in my life and I see Him taking me through in the name of Jesus.
