Have you ever felt like your life was without purpose and there is nothing spectacular about it?
One day, as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from birth. When the disciples saw him, they asked Jesus who sinned for the man to be born blind – the man of his parents?
Well, Jesus said none of the above but in order for works of God to be manifested, He had to do something about his condition. So the master ministers to him and he receives his sight.
But the more interesting part is the argument that ensued afterward with the Pharisees. After questioning the man severally, he made a statement in defense of the Lord that is noteworthy.
Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. (John 9:32)
In proving to them that Jesus must be real, the man said He had done something no one had ever done before. And as I read that, the Holy Spirit ministered to me that this was not peculiar to Jesus alone.
It is not only Jesus that is anointed to do something no one has ever done before. As a matter of fact, it is the desire of the Father to demonstrate and show forth an aspect of Himself to the world through us.
God wants to use you to show forth something that the world has never known or seen before. That is why the scripture also declares that:
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Cor 2:9)
While God has great and mighty plans that the world has never seen for all His children, the only condition given here is that we love the Lord. Place Him first and center in your life and see if He will not make something beautiful out of your life.
That was one of the secrets of the life of Jesus you know? He loved God in a way that no one ever did. And for the records, the proof of your love for God is in what you do with His word.
If all you do with the word if argue over it, you are doing yourself and your destiny a disservice dear. The word of God is for doing not for debating. It is the doer or the word that is blessed not the one who debates or argues scripture.
Take your acting on the word to another level and see if God will not do with you what the world has never seen before.
CONFESSION: Dear Father, I thank you for the great and mighty plans you have for me. I thank you for desiring the best for me and going out of your way to make it possible. Thank you, Lord, for making me a sign and a wonder in this world. As I listen to and act on the word, I see a daily manifestation of your will in my life in Jesus name.
